Senior AI Engineer
Job Summary
To design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems that address significant business and customer challenges, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and data scientists in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI solutions to enhance service delivery for Veterans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems
- Evaluate and optimize machine learning models for production readiness and performance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or machine learning engineering
- 3+ years of experience with Python and software development best practices
- 3+ years of experience with generative AI and large language models
- Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, Docker, and Amazon SageMaker
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, model evaluation, and data preparation
