Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in the Eastern US, the full-time salaried Senior AI Engineer will design and implement advanced AI systems to enhance instrument intelligence and lab automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate product concepts into actionable AI architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to develop enterprise-grade capabilities for intelligent instruments and autonomous labs
• Lead the technical implementation of complex AI projects, ensuring alignment with product success criteria and measurable KPIs
• Drive innovation in the AI software stack, maximizing value extraction from instruments through comprehensive AI roadmaps

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, automation, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Extensive experience in the Life Science, Diagnostics, or Biotechnology industries, with expertise in Agentic Systems and Multimodal AI
• Proven track record of successful end-to-end implementation of AI projects in imaging applications
• Strong programming skills in Python or C++, with experience in deep learning frameworks and containerization technologies
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
