Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on agentic systems, the full-time remote Senior AI Engineer will design and build the runtime for agents, develop multi-step workflows, and ensure the reliability and security of AI systems in a production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the runtime for agent execution, including planning, tool calling, and state management
• Develop agents from domain workflows, incorporating human-in-the-loop processes and feedback mechanisms
• Build evaluation frameworks for agent performance and establish metrics for quality and reliability

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
• Experience in building production LLM systems and multi-step workflows
• Strong understanding of LLM behavior and debugging non-deterministic systems
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python, with solid backend and cloud experience (AWS or equivalent)
• Experience with LLM APIs and designing planning and execution loops
