Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on developing agentic systems, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will design and build runtime environments for AI agents, integrate them with enterprise systems, and ensure reliability and evaluation metrics, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the runtime for agents, including planning, execution loops, and failure recovery
• Develop agent workflows from expert conversations to operational systems, ensuring human-in-the-loop processes
• Implement evaluation harnesses and metrics for agent quality, reliability, and security safeguards

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
• Experience in building production LLM systems with multi-step workflows
• Strong understanding of LLM behavior and debugging non-deterministic systems
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python, with solid backend and cloud experience (AWS or equivalent)
• Experience with LLM APIs and designing planning and execution loops
