Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Setting the technical direction for AI initiatives, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will develop machine learning systems, enhance data usability, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment to drive efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the AI/ML architecture and technical strategy for sales, engineering, and manufacturing systems, translating business problems into prioritized AI work
• Extract structured requirements from various documents and assist in configuration and quoting processes to improve operational efficiency
• Design and implement robust evaluation frameworks to ensure safe deployment of AI solutions, maintaining full traceability and compliance with data governance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 5+ years in software or data engineering, with significant experience building and deploying machine learning or AI systems in production
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with depth in modern applied machine learning techniques and frameworks
• Experience with enterprise data schemas and the ability to navigate and improve messy data environments
• Demonstrated experience in deploying and operating models in production, including containerization and CI/CD practices
