Senior AI Engineer - New Jersey Licensed

Job Summary

To support client engagements in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer - New Jersey Licensed will take on operational roles within client teams, learning their processes before developing AI solutions and ensuring successful implementation of GenAI and AWS technologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Spend initial engagement weeks performing client tasks to understand operational constraints and requirements
• Collaborate with clients to rebuild business functions from first principles based on learned insights
• Deliver production-level GenAI/LLM systems and evaluate their performance through developed evaluation suites

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on production code
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with strong engineering fundamentals
• Experience with cloud-native delivery on AWS, including containers and CI/CD
• Solid understanding of AI/ML principles and hands-on experience with Claude Code/Cowork
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders in a client-facing role
