Senior AI Engineering Lead

Job Summary

To act as a technical authority across the engineering team, the full-time Senior AI Engineering Lead will architect and ship AI applications on strategic accounts while coaching engineers and setting standards for AI tooling in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and ship AI applications across GenAI, Agentic, and ML on 1-2 strategic accounts, including system design and deploying enterprise-grade pipelines
• Act as the mandatory technical reviewer at solutioning checkpoints, set standards for AI tooling use, and simplify complex architectures
• Run weekly 1:1s with engineers, conduct cross-account code reviews, and build growth plans to address individual skill gaps

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, focusing on Generative AI, RAG, agentic systems, and cloud-based AI
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineers, with measurable evidence of growing others
• Strong background in Generative AI/RAG, Agentic AI, and AI-driven automation
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and deployment of AI services on AWS, Azure, or GCP
