Senior AI Governance Manager

Job Summary

To advance responsible AI practices, the full-time Senior AI Governance Manager will manage the design and implementation of governance frameworks, ensuring compliance and ethical use of AI while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply emerging AI governance regulations and standards to organizational AI use cases
• Conduct risk assessments for complex AI systems, identifying systemic risks and monitoring model bias trends
• Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, controls, and operational processes while supporting compliance initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI governance, technology risk, or related fields
• Post-secondary education certificate or university degree in a relevant discipline
• Strong understanding of AI governance principles and model risk management concepts
• Familiarity with global AI and data regulations, including ISO and GDPR
• Experience conducting risk assessments and compliance reviews for AI or technology systems
