Job Summary
Evaluating the quality of interactions with AI coding agents, the part-time contract Senior AI Interaction Evaluator will assess AI-generated coding responses, focusing on engineering judgment and the usefulness of explanations, while working remotely for 10-20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions for usefulness and correctness
- Assess the quality of explanations and reasoning provided by AI tools
- Provide clear feedback on interaction quality and help define standards for effective AI interactions
Required qualifications
- Staff or Principal-level engineer or equivalent experience
- Strong background in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or similar tools
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows
- Ability to provide direct and opinionated feedback on engineering quality
