Senior AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior IBM AI/ML Engineer to join their dynamic team remotely in the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the watsonx.data intelligence layer, focusing on data profiling, governance scoring, and asset management
• Design and develop regulation mapping engines for compliance with various data protection laws
• Collaborate with technical leads on model configuration and workflow design for agent-consumable outputs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience with a strong Python background
• Production experience with IBM watsonx.data intelligence, including data profiling and asset management
• Experience building and deploying LLM-backed services with IBM watsonx.ai or similar platforms
• Proven prompt engineering skills with models like Llama, Mistral, or comparable open-weight LLMs
• Experience working within IBM Cloud environments, particularly on the watsonx platform
