Senior AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

To develop cutting-edge AI solutions for healthcare applications, the remote contract Senior AI/ML Engineer will design, build, and deploy scalable generative AI and machine learning solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate these tools into user-facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement generative AI and machine learning solutions tailored for healthcare and enterprise environments
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and monitor AI model performance for safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with teams to integrate AI tools into applications and ensure compliance with safety standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with SQL
• Hands-on experience building generative AI or RAG-based applications
• Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and experience with ML/NLP model development
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or OCI and related tools
