Senior AI/ML Engineer
Job Summary
Leading AI/ML projects end-to-end, the full-time Senior AI/ML Engineer will take ownership of architecture, development, and deployment of AI-powered features for a medical synthesis product, working remotely or onsite in New York.
Key responsibilities
- Lead AI/ML projects from ideation through deployment and ongoing optimization
- Make architectural and technical decisions for AI/ML systems, ensuring scalability and performance
- Design and deploy LLM-driven features for extracting information from complex medical documents
Required qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience writing performant Python code
- Minimum 1 year of experience deploying products powered by large language models (LLMs)
- Proven experience leading technical projects from concept through production deployment
- Hands-on experience with statistical machine learning techniques and hybrid approaches
- Strong skills in evaluating LLM outputs and aligning model behavior with business outcomes
