Senior AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

Designing, building, and deploying AI models and automation workflows for clinical terminology operations, the full-time Senior AI/ML Engineer will evolve solutions from experimentation to production while collaborating closely with data science and engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop machine learning models and automation workflows for terminology management and content creation
• Build and maintain retrieval-augmented generation solutions and agentic workflows using LLMs and structured business rules
• Own the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI workflows in production, ensuring reliability and auditability

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or related fields with a focus on applied machine learning
• Hands-on experience in building agents, agentic workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions
• Proficiency in MLOps, including model deployment, versioning, and CI/CD practices
• Strong Python skills with experience in developing APIs and workflow automation, along with knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with cloud-based AI infrastructure, preferably AWS services
