Senior AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end delivery of an efficiency platform, the full-time Senior AI Platform Engineer will define architectural direction, manage infrastructure investments, and ensure operational reliability in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define architectural direction and roadmap priorities for the efficiency platform across various teams
• Own the end-to-end delivery of the platform, ensuring security, reliability, and performance
• Serve as the technical authority for AI-powered infrastructure, setting engineering standards and mentoring senior engineers

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in CS, EE, CE, or a related field with 8+ years of hands-on experience in platform or backend infrastructure
• 5+ years of direct experience in ML infrastructure, including ownership of a model serving platform
• Proven track record of setting technical direction and leading initiatives across multiple teams
• Strong Python skills and proficiency in at least one compiled language such as C, C++, Go, Java, or Rust
• Hands-on experience with job queues and sandboxed execution in containerized environments
