Senior AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To build the AI backbone of a fast-moving company, the full-time Senior AI Platform Engineer will design and implement agents, connectors, and automation systems that enhance productivity across the organization, working remotely and collaborating with various teams to integrate and optimize AI tools.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect agents that automate workflows by chaining reasoning, tool calls, and decision-making
• Design and deploy MCP servers for secure access to systems and data, facilitating autonomous work across multiple functions
• Build and maintain internal BI environments on Databricks, ensuring data quality and organization for AI readiness

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience
• Prior experience with MCP servers, LLM tools, or AI agent frameworks
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and credential management
• Experience building and deploying services to Kubernetes or similar container infrastructure
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data warehousing and data lakes is a plus
