Senior AI Researcher

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior AI Researcher for a full-time remote position, this role will translate machine learning research into practical solutions for the permitting space, focusing on applied research across computer vision, large language models, and agentic AI workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Own computer vision and agentic AI problem domains, adapting architectures and training strategies for complex real-world data
• Drive the design and execution of experiments from framing questions to evaluating model performance
• Identify high-impact opportunities to enhance AI systems and make pragmatic trade-off decisions in collaboration with stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in applied AI research with a proven track record of deploying models and systems
• Demonstrated experience in taking projects from research to production, with proficiency in MLOps practices
• Deep experience in training and fine-tuning models using modern frameworks and handling end-to-end ML workflows on cloud platforms
• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience implementing core computer vision algorithms and building agentic AI workflows
