Senior AI Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior AI Scientist will design and implement large-scale machine learning and AI algorithms to enhance customer experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy models that drive significant revenue across various Best Buy platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement systems for Search, RecSys, Personalization, and Adtech that enhance customer interactions
• Derive complex features from clickstream logs for model training and develop retrieval/ranking models using advanced AI techniques
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy low-latency machine learning models effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
• Strong background in machine learning with expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning methods
• 4 years of experience in building ML or AI-driven products or related functions
• 2 years of experience in industrial-grade Search, RecSys, Personalization, or Adtech
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Julia)
