Senior AI Scientist

Job Summary

To support a scaling health tech organization, the remote Senior AI Scientist will design and develop deep learning models for medical images and clinical text, lead end-to-end research projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate innovation into production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop deep learning models applied to medical images and clinical text
• Lead end-to-end research projects from idea generation through evaluation and deployment
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers, ML engineers, data scientists, and clinical experts

Required qualifications

• Strong commercial or academic experience in deep learning using Python and PyTorch
• Proven ability to lead and own research projects independently
• Hands-on experience training models at scale, including GPU or cluster-based workflows
• Comfort working in Linux or Ubuntu environments
• Exposure to healthcare or medical imaging AI is highly beneficial
