Senior AI Scientist

Job Summary

To enable healthcare organizations to deliver better care at lower costs, the full-time Senior AI Scientist will apply advanced technology and data analytics to solve pressing healthcare issues, collaborating with a team of professionals to develop and deploy machine learning models.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the potential value and risks of business problems solvable through AI and machine learning
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to verify hypotheses related to AI/ML use cases and document findings for team collaboration
• Deploy trained models into production and support monitoring of model performance while participating in design sessions to improve the machine learning platform

Required qualifications

• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Operations Research
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and AI, utilizing tools like pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch
• Experience with natural language processing techniques and deploying models using tools such as HuggingFace and OpenAI
• Proficiency in building production-grade machine learning deployments on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience working with Apache Spark and large-scale distributed datasets
