Senior AI Scientist

Job Summary

Owning the development of medical models for Atria's clinical AI agenda, the full-time remote Senior AI Scientist will create domain-specific models and foundation models for preventive medicine, leveraging a unique data estate to enhance patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Own the medical modeling roadmap and build models that significantly impact clinical outcomes
• Survey the open-source landscape to make informed recommendations on model development and fine-tuning
• Design and validate novel architectures for longitudinal multi-modal data and lead fine-tuning efforts

Required qualifications

• Graduate degree (PhD preferred, Master's with strong research record) in relevant fields or a strong open-source track record
• 4+ years of hands-on experience training and fine-tuning modern deep learning models
• Deep knowledge of modern fine-tuning and post-training methods, including SFT and PEFT techniques
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with experience in the Hugging Face ecosystem
• Genuine interest in healthcare and the implications of models on patient care
