Job Summary

To drive innovation in automotive AI, the full-time Senior AI Scientist will design and train large-scale transformer and hybrid foundation models while working remotely, focusing on model architecture, training stability, and scaling trade-offs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and train large-scale transformer and hybrid foundation models, owning architecture choices across various paradigms
• Diagnose and resolve training instabilities, applying optimization dynamics and scaling laws to improve model performance
• Experiment with and design loss functions to enhance model convergence, generalization, and alignment

Required qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in deep learning and representation learning
• Experience with transformer architectures and optimization techniques, including various optimizers and schedulers
• Proficiency in distributed training methods and large-scale model execution
• Understanding of loss function design and its impact on model performance
• Familiarity with scaling laws and compute trade-offs in model training
