Senior AI Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating cross-functionally, the full-time Senior AI Software Engineer will design and build AI-powered features for a digital banking platform, integrating large language models and AI capabilities while working remotely from the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered features, including natural language interfaces and intelligent assistants
• Integrate LLMs and AI APIs into production systems, ensuring robust prompt engineering and output validation
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and compliance with financial services regulations, contributing to internal documentation and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5 years equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 1-2+ years in AI/ML integration or LLM-based product development
• Proficiency with LLM APIs such as Anthropic Claude or OpenAI, including prompt engineering
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture
• Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and communicate complex concepts effectively
