Senior AI Specialist
Job Summary
Leading the technical direction of the AI-Native Software Engineering pod, the full-time Senior AI Specialist will design, build, and maintain platforms for Eaton's AI Governance program while mentoring a team of engineers in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set technical direction and engineering standards while contributing production code each sprint
- Design and run AI Control Tower, AgentOps, AI Funnel, AI FinOps, and Policy-as-Code capabilities
- Engineer observability and compliance across Eaton's AI estate, ensuring adherence to AI policies and risk requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of ten years of software engineering experience, including three years in LLM and agent-based systems
- Must reside within 50 miles of a US Eaton location and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Experience with AI-native engineering patterns and cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
