Senior AI Strategist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior AI Strategist to lead strategic initiatives and partnership development within AIR's AI initiatives team, focusing on external engagement and thought leadership while operating remotely or from designated U.S. office locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives and partnerships related to AI
• Contribute to thought leadership by authoring high-quality content and representing AIR at key events
• Drive business development efforts by shaping proposals and identifying funding opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, Master's with 9+ years, or Ph.D. with 5+ years in relevant fields
• Deep knowledge of AI implications in sectors such as education, workforce, health, or technology policy
• Proven experience in developing cross-sector partnerships and business development
• Established networks in relevant fields and experience in mission-driven environments
• Experience leading projects and mentoring junior staff in a collaborative setting
