Senior Aircraft Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Aircraft Performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop drag modeling methodologies and create drag models for aircraft performance analyses
• Develop computerized aircraft performance programs and methods for analyzing all aspects of aircraft performance
• Plan and participate in flight test campaigns to analyze performance data for development and certification

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or a relevant discipline
• 5-7+ years of experience in detailed performance analysis on fixed wing aircraft
• Strong knowledge of performance methodologies and software development for performance data tools
• Experience with simulation and flight testing for aircraft performance
• Familiarity with scripting languages and simulation tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
