Senior Airframe Stress Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Airframe Stress Analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis of metallic and composite structural components to ensure structural integrity
• Author, review, and approve analysis documentation and structural test plans
• Develop stress analysis tools and methodologies while supporting multi-disciplinary configuration development

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience (or 2+ years with M.S.)
• Experience with airframe static and fatigue stress analysis for composite and metallic structures
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis methods and industry standard classical analysis methods
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6/3DX and ENOVIA V5/V6/3DX
