Senior Algorithm Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative medical devices, the fully remote Senior Algorithm Engineer will lead the lifecycle of biosignal-based algorithm development, from scoping and data curation to deployment and maintenance, while enhancing machine learning tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in and lead the entire biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycle, including specifications gathering, data curation, and documentation
• Select and implement appropriate methods for various problems, applying deep learning techniques as needed
• Enhance internal tools and best practices to improve team efficiency and ensure user-friendly algorithm implementations

Required qualifications:

• More than 5 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, preferably in health sciences or regulated fields
• Proficiency in digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics, with experience in using PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks
• Familiarity with the latest advances in deep learning, including Transformer models and large-scale modeling
• Experience with biosignals, medical imaging data, or large time-series datasets is preferred
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively to various audiences
