Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Algorithm Research Engineer (Remote/Flexible).

Key Responsibilities

Design and assess new features and safety mitigations for the automated insulin delivery (AID) algorithm
Analyze clinical device data for algorithm development using statistical tools
Execute research plans and experiments to evaluate clinical implications of new system features

Required Qualifications

B.S. or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience
Ph.D. in a related field preferred, with 2+ years of academic or industrial research experience in control and signal processing or data science
Exceptional competence in writing software to implement and evaluate research ideas
Ability to translate research into real-world applications
