Senior Analyst, Category Analytics
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Analyst, Category Analytics will translate consumer and retailer insights into actionable growth strategies while leading the development of category analytics deliverables to support Sales and cross-functional partners.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze customer business performance using various data sources to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic planning
- Develop and present category and business reviews, providing insights-based recommendations to drive category sales and brand growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simplify analytics processes and translate insights into execution plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in analytical sales, commercial analytics, or category management
- Strong experience with syndicated sales data software such as IRI or Nielsen
- Technical proficiency in advanced Excel, data visualization, and exposure to programming languages like R, Python, or SQL
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and present detailed business information effectively
