Job Summary
To support the clean energy transition, the full-time Senior Analyst, Clean Electricity will manage research and policy analysis workstreams focused on decarbonization efforts in the western U.S., engaging with stakeholders and contributing to advocacy strategies, while working remotely or from designated office locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of clean energy advocacy strategies by identifying policy opportunities and assessing strategic risks
- Prepare and deliver policy analysis and briefing materials for internal and external audiences
- Lead research projects, including policy analysis of proposed regulations and quantitative research
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of relevant professional experience and a Bachelor's degree in environmental science, economics, public policy, or a related field; a Master's degree may substitute for up to two years of experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of environmental policy, climate policy, and clean electricity
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex policy information
- Experience preparing policy memos and advocacy materials for regulatory or public policy audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
