Senior Analyst - Financial Data Analytics

Job Summary

To support a Department of Defense initiative, the remote Senior Analyst - Financial Data Analytics will lead financial statement audit readiness efforts, design data-driven solutions, and automate analytics processes while ensuring compliance with federal financial management standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support financial statement audit readiness and remediation efforts
• Design and implement data-driven analytical solutions to uncover insights and resolve data challenges
• Automate recurring analytics processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or at least 5 years of equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial data analytics, process automation, or PowerApps development
• Proficiency in Python, PowerApps, or similar tools for financial data extraction, analysis, and reporting
• Active DoD Secret security clearance
