Senior Analyst, Oracle GL

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the Senior Analyst, Oracle GL will serve as the technical subject matter expert responsible for the stability, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Financials' General Ledger and Financial Close environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for financial close cycles, troubleshooting complex issues to ensure timely and accurate close activities
• Maintain and manage General Ledger configurations, ensuring the system structure supports business growth and compliance
• Automate and optimize the financial close process by identifying automation opportunities and applying scripting tools

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 4 years focused on General Ledger and Financial Close modules
• Demonstrated ability to maintain GL configurations and a solid understanding of US GAAP or IFRS accounting principles
• Experience in root-cause analysis for ledger discrepancies and participation in full-lifecycle Oracle Financials implementations
• Experience in a regulated healthcare, insurance, or financial services environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
