Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead their data platform team and enhance data insights for business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion the needs of data consumers by ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and modeling
• Guide architectural choices, data schema design, and establish best practices for data quality
• Design and optimize dbt pipelines for performance and maintainability while advocating for data governance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data platform infrastructure development with strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Advanced knowledge of dbt and expertise in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala)
• Experience with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers of varying experience levels
• Familiarity with data governance principles and experience with sensitive healthcare data
