Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead the development of their data transformation layer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the dbt project for reliable and scalable data transformations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into actionable models and solutions
• Blend data from various sources into a cohesive analytics layer for reporting and decision-making

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering and data analysis, including 2+ years with dbt
• Deep expertise in SQL with a history of building modular and performant models
• Experience with modern data stacks and tools; familiarity with BigQuery and Metabase is a plus
• Strong collaborative approach to working with both business and technical stakeholders
• Bonus: familiarity with Python for scripting, data validation, or orchestration tasks
