Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on hands-on development, the remote contract Senior Analytics Engineer will support a major enterprise reporting and data migration initiative by designing and building BI solutions, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with Data Engineering and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end BI solutions using Microsoft technologies, including Power BI and Snowflake
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Manage and optimize Power BI Service environments and support data governance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and advanced proficiency in Power BI
• Experience with semantic modeling, including Cube, SSAS, or AAS
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and strong skills in SQL, DAX, and Power Query
• Proven ability to lead technically and provide guidance in cross-functional environments
• Experience working closely with Data Engineering and QA teams
