Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the transition to a certified analytics platform, the full-time Senior Analytics Engineer will manage significant initiatives from scoping to delivery, ensuring the integrity of data models and building a prose semantic layer while working in a hybrid capacity from New York or fully remote from Austin or Denver.

Key responsibilities

• Own the analytics platform roadmap initiatives, shaping future directions alongside the Director
• Transform new data sources into production gold-tier dbt models, ensuring speed and quality
• Author and maintain the prose semantic layer, documenting model definitions and historical decisions

Required qualifications

• 4+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a hybrid data role with end-to-end platform ownership experience
• Deep fluency in dbt and SQL, with strong opinions on data grain, testing, and documentation
• Experience working with Redshift or similar data warehouses at scale
• Hands-on experience building LLMs against data, with insights on effective implementation
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and influence stakeholders across the organization
