Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the dbt models and data pipelines, the full-time Senior Analytics Engineer will focus on maintaining the architecture of Landing's data warehouse while ensuring data quality and supporting high-stakes decision-making in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the dbt model library, ensuring models are clean, tested, documented, and aligned with business needs
• Oversee Landing's ELT stack, focusing on reliability, performance, and lineage clarity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish analytics engineering standards and support executive reporting

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence with a strong backend focus
• Expert-level knowledge of dbt production models, including testing, documentation, and model architecture best practices
• Strong SQL skills with experience in designing data models for analytical use cases
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses
• Ability to translate technical infrastructure into business context and needs
