Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data engineering team, the full-time Senior Analytics Engineer will contribute to the migration from a legacy SQL Server data stack to a modern cloud data stack, design data pipelines, and collaborate with the Business Intelligence team while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the migration of data from a legacy SQL Server stack to a modern cloud data stack using Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau
• Design and build data pipelines using Snowpark and/or Snowpipe for various data sources
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to enhance the data warehouse and meet reporting demands

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, particularly with cloud migration to Snowflake
• Strong SQL skills, including CTEs and window functions
• Proficiency in Python for building data pipelines with Snowpark
• Experience designing multi-dimensional data models with star schema and Type 2 SCDs
• Familiarity with dbt for developing robust ELT processes
