Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Owning end-to-end data modeling for specific business domains, the full-time Senior Analytics Engineer will build scalable data models and pipelines, optimize ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance analytics and decision-making in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement modular data models and reusable frameworks that serve as the single source of truth for downstream teams
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt and Airflow, ensuring data quality and performance across data warehouse architectures
• Develop dashboards and visualization layers to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering, with expertise in modular data model design and production ETL/ELT pipelines
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and intermediate-to-advanced Python for automation and framework development
• Production experience with modern data warehouse architectures, including performance tuning and version-controlled development workflows
• Proven ability to deliver impactful data solutions and communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders
• Experience with prompt engineering for LLMs and responsible use of generative AI in data processes
