Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join the remote data team in a full-time capacity, this role will manage end-to-end analytics processes, partner with stakeholders to define metrics, and advance AI-assisted analytics workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to scope analyses, define metrics, and translate ambiguous requests into actionable insights
• Own the design, build, and maintenance of dashboards, ensuring they meet stakeholder needs and drive decision-making
• Contribute to data modeling and engineering efforts, ensuring data quality and collaborating with engineering teams on analytics requirements

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional analytics experience with a track record of managing analyses and dashboards from inception to delivery
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing environments such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery
• Experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Hex, Looker, Tableau) and a genuine business-intelligence mindset
• Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and the ability to reason about data structures
• Experience with AI-assisted analytics workflows and a willingness to learn new technologies, including dbt and version control systems
