Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To strengthen the data foundation and support clinical AI initiatives, the full-time Senior Analytics Engineer will own the dbt project, oversee the semantic and orchestration layers, and ensure data observability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end dbt project, including documentation, testing, and schema design
• Develop and maintain the semantic layer to support self-service analytics and ensure data quality
• Monitor data pipelines for anomalies and manage the orchestration layer during the transition to AWS

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience owning the transformation layer of a modern data stack
• Strong proficiency in dbt, Snowflake governance, and Python programming
• Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect
• Familiarity with AWS and the ability to ramp quickly in a HIPAA-aligned environment
• Understanding of healthcare data, particularly in value-based care operations for Medicaid populations
