Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team focused on improving health outcomes, the remote Senior Analytics Engineer will design, build, and manage end-to-end data solutions, including data ingestion, modeling, and analytics reporting, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of analytics-ready data platforms, ensuring data quality and standardization using tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Looker
• Lead cross-functional collaborations to understand analytical needs and architect data models and pipelines that support strategic business objectives
• Mentor junior team members and promote data governance practices to enhance data quality and documentation standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in a data visualization or data engineering role
• Proficiency in Looker and LookML, with experience in other BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake for building and maintaining analytics models
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimization
• Experience with agile development methodologies and collaborative project delivery practices
