Senior Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
To support data infrastructure and business insights, the full-time remote Senior Analytics Engineer will manage the end-to-end data pipeline, collaborate with teams to translate business questions into analytical workflows, and mentor data analysts to enhance their capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize data pipelines and models in BigQuery, ensuring data integrity and performance
- Collaborate with various teams to translate business requests into actionable data projects and maintain scalable reporting structures
- Act as a mentor for data analysts, establishing best practices for analytics processes and fostering a high-performance engineering culture
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or related data roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt for building scalable data models
- Strong experience managing cloud data warehouses, specifically BigQuery
- Proven track record with Fivetran or similar ingestion tools and business intelligence platforms like Looker/LookML
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
