Senior Android Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Android System Developer to lead the hardening phase of their next-generation Time Clock application.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and refine Android Lock Task Mode to secure the application environment
• Disable system UI elements to create an immersive user experience
• Implement self-healing mechanisms and manage boot and update processes for stability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience, with Kotlin required
• Deep understanding of the Android lifecycle and process management
• Experience with Corporate-Owned, Single-Use (COSU) device configurations
• Familiarity with processing hardware events and managing background services
• Strong knowledge of Device Owner / Profile Owner APIs
