Senior Android Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Android Developer to join the Pharmacy Digital Web & Mobile team, who will leverage expertise in Kotlin to develop native Android applications that enhance customer connectivity with the Publix Pharmacy, while working in a hybrid environment based in Lakeland, FL.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement new customer-facing features for Android applications
• Oversee application security and manage app configuration for Android users
• Rapidly prototype and explore new concepts to enhance the digital strategy on the Android platform

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience developing Android applications using Kotlin
• 3+ years of experience with modern Android UI using Jetpack Compose
• 3+ years of experience with asynchronous programming using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
• 3+ years of experience with REST API integration and networking libraries
