Senior Android Developer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Senior Software Development Engineer, Android, the candidate will architect and build reusable Android components and frameworks using Kotlin and modern Android technologies, while influencing the design system to enhance developer efficiency and product quality across mobile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop reusable Android components and infrastructure to support consistent product experiences
• Evolve the Android design system and create tooling to facilitate faster development and compliance with design standards
• Maintain high code quality through design, testing, and code reviews while managing the component library release lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of Android engineering experience with proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern development tooling
• Experience in building libraries, frameworks, or reusable component systems with a focus on design systems
• Strong understanding of accessibility, performance, and Android UI best practices
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver complex technical solutions independently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
