Senior Android Developer

Job Summary

Working in a hybrid environment as a contractor, the Senior Android Developer will design and build advanced applications for the financial services sector, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform utilized in financial services
• Collaborate with team leadership, Product Owners, Designers, and other technologists to create software based on business and technical priorities
• Advocate for test-driven development and ensure code quality through robust software architecture and engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering and maintaining large-scale enterprise Android mobile applications
• Expert-level experience building production Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM architecture
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• College degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent experience
