Senior Android Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Android Developer with expertise in native Android development and preferred iOS experience, this contract position offers a hybrid work environment based in Denver, CO, requiring onsite presence approximately three days per month while focusing on building and enhancing mobile applications for healthcare initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, and the Android SDK
• Collaborate with iOS developers to ensure consistent functionality and user experience across both mobile platforms
• Integrate RESTful APIs for secure data synchronization and manage application testing and quality assurance processes

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional software development experience focused on native Android application development
• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, and the Android SDK
• Working knowledge of iOS development using Swift and/or Objective-C with Xcode
• Experience with RESTful API integration and building scalable mobile applications
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in an Agile development environment
