Senior Android Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Android - Retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX, PM, QA, and other engineers to build the POS for Retail
• Ensure quality by creating automated tests for changes and maintain the robustness of the POS system
• Drive the full software development lifecycle, from design and prototyping to deployment and maintenance

Required Qualifications and Education

• Proficient in native Android development with Kotlin
• Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and experience with legacy codebases
• Ability to make technical decisions and recommendations for future strategies
• Experience in planning, scoping, and rapidly prototyping solutions using web technologies
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to different tech stacks and languages
