Senior Android Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Android Engineer, Contractor (Canada).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build customer-facing apps for the Android platform
• Collaborate with the product team to define, design, and ship new features
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technology

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a computer-oriented field or equivalent experience with 5+ years of work experience
• Deep understanding of Android paradigms and passion for Kotlin
• Experience developing feature-rich Android apps and with collaborative source control, preferably Git
• Solid understanding of memory management and comfortable with Test-Driven Development
• Preferred experience developing apps for IoT devices, especially Bluetooth devices
